The Honorable New Year 2014 is an undertaking by some of the 16 Commonwealth governments for various orders and honors to recognize and appreciate the good work of those citizens. New Year awards were given as part of the New Year's celebration in early January.
The New Year award is announced on 31 December 2013 in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland. The 2014 New Year award is the first New Year Award in which more women than men are selected for the Award.
Honorary recipients are shown when they are laid out before their new honor and arranged by the state (in the preferred order) whose minister advises the Queen on the promise, then with honor with the values ​​of Knight/Dame Grand Cross, Knight/Dame Commander etc. and then the appropriate Civil, Diplomatic and Military divisions.
