newhope church is the Wesleyan church founded by Father Benji Kelley, today one of the fastest growing churches in the United States, and has campuses around the world including North Carolina, South Carolina and Kenya.

History
the newhope church was founded in 2002 by Benji Kelley, and his wife Amy Lynn Kelley. In 2001, Jim Garlow worked as a senior pastor at Skyline Wesleyan Church in Southern California. Garlow knows the new graduate of Father Benji Kelley, who founded a church in Chapel Hill. His congregation is growing rapidly, and he hopes to expand into the Wesleyan denomination. Garlow contacted the Durham Wesleyan District Office about the new church, and with Father Kelley, the two worked with Chapel Hill Superintendent Leon Thompson to help finance their new church.
In January 2002 the newhope church held its first worship service at East Chapel Hill High School. There are over 600 attendees. Soon the newhope moved to his own location. Within six years the church has exceeded its original location as well as three others. In 2010, the newhope church sold its original location and used the funds to buy 36 hectares of land that became the center campus of the church.
With the creation of a large central campus, as well as other satellite campuses', the newhope church set up holiday Bible schools as an alternative to Bible studies, some pre-school programs and both web video and television studios to broadcast sermons hosted by Father Benji Kelley .
Today, the newhope church continues to be one of the fastest growing churches in North America with more than 5,000 people present each week (Easter celebration 2017 they have more than 10,000 attendance). Their latest campus in North Durham has also seen attendance from 800 to 1,600 in one week.

the newhope church actively encourages members to serve. At the ministry's fairs, customers can register for service directly after the sermon. The church offers financial counseling to families who want to get back on track with debt, and "Community for Hope Mission" has embarked on a yearly journey of Easter Egg's annual food and Easter helicopters beginning in 2016. Father Benji Kelley also spoke at Mother Emanuel Methodist Africa after the shootings happened there in June 2015.
The Church also hosts an annual leadership conference known as "InCite", which brings together more than 700 ministries and market professionals to the network. The purpose of this conference is to teach pastors how to grow their respected churches, through grassroots outreach. A portion of the cost from InCite is used to fund the Global Leadership Conference to be held in Kenya.
