The Christian University of New Hope , formerly known as Eugene Bible College , is a private four-year Bible college located on a 36-hectare campus in Eugene, Oregon, USA. The curriculum centers on vocational application of Bible training including pastoral studies, Christian counseling, Christian education, intercultural studies, business, art of worship and youth ministry.

History
The school was founded by Fred Hornshuh in 1925. It is part of the Open Bible Churches denomination derived from two revivalist movements: the Bible Standards Conference, founded in Eugene in 1919, and the Open Bible Evangelical Association, founded in Des Moines, Iowa. , in 1932.
The school started as a Bible Standard Training School , and came to be known as the Bible Standards Institute , High School Standards , Eugene Bible College and finally New Hope Christian College.
In 1974, the school moved to its current campus location at 2155 Bailey Hill Road, facing west of Eugene. The hilltop location features a 70-foot (21 meter) cross that is relocated from Skinner Butte on June 24, 1997.
In 2009, the school joined the Pacific Rim Christian College Consortium, a group of three other colleges in Honolulu, Myanmar and Japan founded by Wayne Cordeiro alumnus. Cordeiro was appointed chancellor when NHCC, then still Eugene Bible College, joined the consortium. The name was changed from Eugene Bible College to New Hope Christian College in June 2010.

New Hope Christian College is accredited by the Bible Higher Education Association - ABHE. The school is affiliated with the Open Bible Standard Churches and the Church of the New Hope Christian Fellowship and united by the State of Oregon.
Athletics
School athletics teams compete as deacons in basketball, volleyball and soccer at the National Christian College Athletic Association.
