Bob Hoskins (born April 15, 1936) is an internationally renowned evangelist based in Pompano Beach, Florida. He founded OneHope (formerly Book of Hope International) in 1987, with a mission to deliver messages of hope to children and youth through various forms of media. He has spent most of his life serving as a missionary, reaching out to people in countries in the Middle East, Africa, South America, Asia and Europe. Hoskins has devoted over 70 years to various ministries.

Hoskins was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Charles and Lucille Hoskins. By the time he was 7 years old, Hoskins launched his evangelistic ministry, regularly speaking in revival tents and Christian crusades in the United States. She dropped out of school the same year to pursue full-time ministry. From that age to the age of eighteen, he traveled throughout the United States in crusades throughout the city. Because of his travel itinerary, he received his education from a private teacher who traveled with the evangelical team.
In 1953, Hoskins traveled to French Guiana. While working with a group of newly baptized believers, Bob launched a salvation and healing crusade that resulted in the conversion of thousands of people.
At 19, Hoskins met Hazel Crabtree at a church event where he preached in Little Rock, Arkansas. Four years later on September 5, 1959, they were married at a ceremony in Sacramento, California before leaving for the mission field.

Careers
Initial service
In 1964, Hoskins followed a vision to plant churches in the Middle East and North Africa. The ministry they established under the name of the Middle East outreach includes correspondence courses, radio services, seminaries and missionary outreach organization to the region in the world.
In 1965, Hoskins and his wife moved to Beirut, Lebanon, where they lived and raised three of their children until returning to the United States in August 1980. While there, Bob launched The Way of Life Literature Ministry, which, after 10 years, 400,000 people enrolled in their correspondence program.
Hoskins has worked with thousands of potential and unlikely partners and volunteers - including public health officials, national education departments, and aid organizations.
Life Publishers International
After 15 years overseas, Hoskins returned to the United States with his family in 1980 to lead the newly formed Life Publishers; a service of language literature that creates material in Spanish, French, Russian, Romanian and many other languages.
In 1980, Hoskins moved to Miami, Florida, where Bob took over the newly created Presidency of Life Publishers International. He continued in the leadership of the Life Publisher until 1996, when the denomination he affiliated sold the publishing entity to Zondervan Publishers.
OneHope
In 1987, Hoskins launched the Book of Hope International services. Over the next 30 years, as the ministry expanded beyond print to digital, the ministry changed its name to OneHope. OneHope was founded with the aim to provide all the children of the world with the message of the Bible. 968,000 First Book of Hope - customized Bible-based children's publications - will be sent to every schoolboy in El Salvador at the request of the country's Minister of Education.
In 2004, Bob's son Rob Hoskins became president of OneHope and expanded its reach through new media platforms and formats, including The GodMan - an animated film about Jesus' life - sports clinics, concerts and interactive games.
OneHope launched a multi-year multi-country research initiative to examine the spiritual state of the world's children in 2007. Data collected from a survey of 153,652 school-aged children on 5 continents were used to tailor OneHope's programs and materials to each of the cultural challenges 44 unique countries.
In 2008, OneHope sent a 500 millionth Hope Book to a child in Colombia. Currently, OneHope has distributed over one billion worldwide.

Hoskins has written a number of books, including classics, All They Want Is the Truth , which have been translated into different languages ââwith over a million copies distributed.
Personal life
Bob has traveled on every continent and country in the world. He has preached in more than 160 countries.
Hoskins has been recognized by several industry leaders for his work around the world. In 2013, the School of Bob Hoskins in Angola was launched and named in his honor. In February 2014, Hoskins was honored with celebrations in the United States, Dubai and India, having completed 70 years of full-time service.
Bob married his wife Hazel on September 5, 1959. Hazel was an alumnus of 1954 from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri.
Soon after marriage, Bob and Hazel begin their lifelong missionary service to the world, working in the continents of Africa and South America and in the French and Lebanese missions fields. Hazel wrote a book about their experience as a missionary in Africa called Honeymoon Safari released in 1963. The next ten years were spent on missionary missionary journey in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Since establishing OneHope, Hazel Hoskins, who is a partner in service, works closely with organizations, especially in services for girls and women. Hazel wrote a book, ... and I sat there in February 2014. On June 22, 2015, Hazel died at the age of 81 years.
Bob is currently in Hillsboro Beach, Florida. She has three grown children and eight grandchildren. Bob Hoskins has survived cancer 3 times and is also partially blind.
