Bachelor's Hope is a historic house located in Chaptico, St. Mary's County, Maryland. It is known for a two-story brick center block with a jerkinhead roof, which contains one large ground floor space. On both sides there is one floor, two-room brick wings. There are no other known 17th century structures in the state with similar combinations of plans, facades, and features of the "Balai Besar" component.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
