Histori

Hope is a best-selling product that is familiar with the name "Short Hope" and "Shoppo" (it is the official product name to enter the number of entries per package in parentheses). There is a Hope brand with a similar name introduced in 1931 and there until September 1940, after Emperor Hirohito searched for foreign brand names, Hope was relaunched in 1957, but not related to Hope before the war. It is a partner for Peace cigarettes

Packages

The bow and arrows of the package design are the images of bows and arrows used by the Roman mythologist Cupid. The color of the bow and arrows and the brand name is navy blue, using a red light, super bright using monotonic and menthol colors using green.

Hope's design has a smaller proportion of "HOPE" letters than the logotype type compared to the previously released package, the proportion of such a thick serif section (minor change in mid-November 1995, at the same time the tar/nicotine value is 15 mg and 1.3 mg and converted to 14 mg and 1.2 mg). Although other warning text is inserted, it has basically been storing images since the introduction of the brand in 1957. This package was designed by Shirozu Shiozuka.

Hope Light was also released and, at the time of its release, was adopted with a different design, integrated design on a small change of Hope in November 1995 (at the same time the tar/nicotine value changed from 11 mg tar and 1.0 mg of nicotine to 9 mg tar and 0.8 mg of nicotine), and variants of Super Lights and Menhol are selected after basically the same as Hope, except that the color of the bow and arrow are different. Then, in September 2009, the Super Light was changed, instead of featuring traditional silver arrows, instead of displaying monotonous tones to the craft, and in October of that year the Light and Menthol variants also filled the Super Light as updated to craft style packages. At the same time, Light adopted a charcoal filter and the taste has changed.

Package design once again changes in February 2014, based on Hope design, the bow and arrow will be arranged in three dimensions and the shadow will be placed in the "HOPE" character. The design is once again united with all 4 variants.

"Hope Dry Gold" released for a limited time from April 2014 (the whole package is gold) and also the "Hope Sour Red" (which is all red in the package) also released for a limited time from November 2014. "Hope Hot Black" (which has a completely black package) and "Hope Passion Yellow" (the package is fully yellow) was also released for a limited time. The design base is the same for other models, however, "Hot Black" and "Passion Yellow" are designed on the left side.

In addition, in the inner package other than Hope, prior to the update in February 2014, different illustrations are drawn depending on the problem. For example, there is a hidden spirit like a picture taken by a Samurai with a bow and arrow, and a scissor hand is drawn. The carton arises in the initial package (different wrapping paper also varies depending on the brand name).

Products

Here are all Hope cigar variants, with tar and nicotine levels.

Hope (20), which was once sold, is a soft package of length (later king size). This is known as "Long Hope". The red bows and arrows of packets are approaching vermillion and slightly smaller than current Hope. In addition, this package type logo is the difference between a normal Roman body "HOPE", and the difference looks that it's "Century Gothic" and "hope". Despite the fact that all current variants of Hope are the same regular size, it is called "short hope" because of the existence of this former Hope (20). The Nakajima writers also love it, and they also show up during work.

Hope (Philippines)

In the Philippines, Hope is a brand owned by Fortune Tobacco Corporation and produced and distributed by PMFTC, Inc. This is not related to the Japan Tobacco Hope brand, although the Philippines brand makes the Hope brand name in a similar typeface. It is sold as mentolated cigarettes in 100-mm and 85-mm sticks. It's labeled with the word "Luxury" under the Hope brand name.

This brand is advertised based on "frozen freshness". Television commercials show foreign talent involved in exciting Western leisure activities such as sky-diving, wakeboarding, and boat racing to push home the "freshness" story. The advertisement was made more popular with his jingle, sung by 21-year-old Claire de la Fuente, a Karen Carpenter who sounded. The ads lasted from the 1970s to the early 2000s.
