Home: Hope & amp; Journey is a compilation album, by various Australian artists and a New Zealander (Dave Dobbyn), to raise funds and bring attention to extraordinary, Australian charities against depression. The album debuted at No. 40 on the ARIA Album Ladder on December 3, 2006, but out of the top 50 in the following week. Editorial editorial Amazon.com describes it as providing "well-known and beloved songs from some of Australia's best artists."
"Do not Give Up", the main single, is a cover version of Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush duo recorded in 1986. Noll and Bassingthwaighte's performance peaked at No. 1. 2 in December 2006 and remained above 50 for 21 weeks. "I'll Stand by You" by Erica Baxter was suggested for the album, but did not make the final piece.
