" Wild Wild West " is American rapper Kool Moe Dee, released in 1988 as a single from his second studio album How I Like Me Now . It was recorded in 1987 at Battery Studios in London, England, produced by Bryan "Chuck" New, LaVaba Mallison, Pete Q. Harris, Teddy Riley and Kool Moe Dee, and released via Jive Records. His A-side line, "Wild, Wild West", was written and performed by Kool Moe Dee. The single reached number 62 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 4 in the US Billboard Track R & amp; B/Hip-Hop Heat.
This music video features Kool Moe Dee in a western-style town with snow on the ground and with backup dancers. The video was filmed in Wild West City, in Stanhope, NJ.
The song is also featured in an episode of MTV Rob and Big when Rob and Big add mini horses to their family. This is also one of the videos that appeared on MTV's Beavis & amp; Butthead . It was then sampled by Will Smith in the 1999 song of the same name, featuring Kool Moe Dee (along with Dru Hill).
